Cults, mass graves, 'encounters with Jesus': In Kenya, freedom of worship comes beneath scrutiny

In April 2023, Kenyan human rights defenders found a lethal cult within the Shakahola forest. They exhumed greater than 400 our bodies from mass graves. The pastor of the Good Information Worldwide Ministries, Paul Mackenzie, had satisfied his followers that by ravenous themselves to dying, they’d meet Jesus earlier than the apocalypse struck the Earth.
