The 2025 Nobel Prize in literature was awarded to Hungarian author Laszlo Krasznahorkai, “for his compelling and visionary oeuvre that, within the midst of apocalyptic terror, reaffirms the ability of artwork.” The Nobel Prize comes with a diploma, a gold medal and a virtually $1.2 million prize sum.
