
The 1967 movie “Les demoiselles de Rochefort” by Jacques Demy starred a younger Catherine Deneuve and her real-life sister Françoise Dorleac as twins residing within the French seaside city of Rochefort, the place they sang and danced their means via a sequence of pastel settings in the hunt for real love. Nearly 60 years later, the film has come to life in a present on the Lido theatre on the Champs-Élysées in Paris.
