Campaigning on a platform of daring reform in 2017, is Emmanuel Macron now vying for “symbolic energy” within the Autumn of his presidency, asks Renaud Foucault, Senior Lecturer in Economics at Lancaster College. Mr.Foucault asserts that the French president will doubtless avoid snap elections and easily “kick the can down the street” to maintain the far proper at bay till 2027.
